5 line ‘Ground-Return’ set up

The ground return / pos-neg 5 line set up enables your Bear Sentry to make a more reliable connection when conditions are very dry, i.e. up North or higher altitudes.

A bear will close the circuit and receive a shock when it touches both a positive “hot” line and a “ ground return” line; though, if it only makes contact with a hot line, it is still possible for the bear to ground the fence for a shock (as in the usual “all hot line” set up).

The Base Camp model is easier to set up.
