What’s the best way to connect the energizer to the fence?

Clip the red wire to the yellow ring terminal. This will make the most reliable electrical contact between the energizer and all 6 wires that are twisted through the line (polywire). However, clipping directly to the polywire will also work. The black connector wire is clipped to the ground stake.
