What's the difference between the Syclone and the Nanolite?
The difference is in the poles.
The Syclone is for the backpacker who counts every gram. It has composite fibre poles that provide impressive strength the lightest way possible.
The Nanolite is a little heavier, but also a little tougher. It has 7075 T9 aluminum poles and includes guy lines for set-up in soft terrain (like sand). It's for those who prioritize durability and flexibility.
I ride an adventure bike and I'm pretty rough with my kit, so I carry a Nanolite. Cynthia likes canoe voyages, but doesn't like heavy loads when portaging. She prefers the Syclone.
